50 Easy Daily Self Care Checklist ideas
This is the ultimate list of things to put on your daily self care checklist.
1) Eye exercises
It’s simple and takes about 1 minute. Go ahead and do it now. Lookup, to the right, down to the middle at your nose, to the left, and back up, holding it each time for a count of 4. Do that 4 times in one direction and then go the other direction 4 more times. Pay attention to tension spots and hold your eyes there for a bit longer. This will help your eyesight a lot. I’ve heard a woman started doing this in her 40’s and was able to stop wearing glasses. I have no idea if this is true but it’s possible and it definitely helps relieve eye tension pain.
2) Ice Cube Your Face
Run an ice cube all over your face when you wake up in the morning. This will help prevent and soothe acne. It helps get rid of any bags under your eyes and is a refreshing wake me up and perfect for your daily self care routine.
3) Take Cold Showers
This feels so good in the summer when it’s hot outside. It helps eliminate blackheads and most acne. When you shave with goosebumps your legs stay smooth longer. Your skin and hair are softer too. Some believe cold showers prevent illness too but this is yet to be scientifically proven.
4) Drink 3 cups of tea/day
Herbs are mother nature’s healing gifts and each herb has a different impact on your physical health. Learn which ones work best for your body and its current state. I find that if an herb smells good, it’s a sign that my body needs it. One day an herb will smell good and the next something else smells better. Follow your senses. If you don’t want to boil water 3x/day then make a pitcher of it and stick it in the fridge.
5) Drink 8 cups of water/day
Staying hydrated does wonders for your digestive system. Every cell in your body has water in it and staying hydrated is so important!!!
